Delete your account
This page is for people who sign in to Mission Control Politics, the campaign app made by Oldman AI Solutions Inc.: campaign staff, organisers and phone bank volunteers. It explains how to delete your account and what happens to the information when you do.
If a campaign contacted you and you want your contact details removed, you do not have an account. See the privacy policy instead.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app or in a browser, at any time:
- Sign in to Mission Control.
- Open Your account. It is at the bottom of the menu.
- Under Delete your account, enter your password, type DELETE, and press Delete my account.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device. This cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
If you have only forgotten your password, choose Forgot your password on the sign-in page to set a new one, then follow the steps above. If you cannot sign in at all, we can delete the account for you:
- Email greg@oldmanaisolutions.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my Mission Control account.
- We reply to that address to confirm the request came from you. We do not delete an account on a request we cannot confirm.
- We delete the account within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it is done.
If you only want to stop working with one campaign
Ask that campaign’s administrator to remove you from their team. Your access to that campaign ends at once. Your account itself stays, because it may give you access to other campaigns, and a campaign administrator cannot delete it. To delete the account, follow the steps above.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, password and phone number.
- Your access to every campaign.
- Any set-password link that has not been used.
After deletion the account cannot sign in, and nothing that remains identifies you by name or email address.
What is kept, and for how long
- Work you did for a campaign, such as the outcomes of calls you made and messages you approved. This is part of that campaign’s contact record, which the campaign is accountable for, and it is kept for as long as the campaign keeps its records. After deletion it is attributed to a removed account rather than to you.
- The campaign’s sign-in log: the time and result of each sign-in and the IP address it came from. It is kept for as long as the campaign’s records are, because it is how a campaign answers who had access and when.
- Sign-in attempt counters, used to slow down password guessing, are deleted automatically after 30 days.
